FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS — JUEGO TODO USA
Bold City Stick Fighting Association
Train in the Filipino martial arts of stick fighting — Rompeto, Dugukan, San Miguel, and Systema — right here in Jacksonville
Our Systems
WHAT WE TEACH
We teach four Filipino martial arts systems: Rompeto • Dugukan • San Miguel • Systema. Papoluv brought Dugukan and San Miguel to the United States from Cebu and Kakkar, preserving the authentic Filipino fighting arts and passing them on to the next generation in Jacksonville.
FILMOCAN SAN MIGUEL ESKRIMA
The Filmocan San Miguel Eskrima seal — the mark of the San Miguel system we teach at Bold City Stick Fighting Association.
Our Lineage
MASTERS & LINEAGE
Our lineage is recognized by the masters of the Philippines. Master Jun Neil Alad-ad and Master Moises Rodriguez lead our school, with Jeanephus Besira. Our Dugukan authorization and our San Miguel affiliation — certificate FA2026-001, issued September 6, 2026 in Cebu City and signed by Franchot Cañete Flores — connect Bold City Stick Fighting Association directly to the source of these arts.
Grandmaster Florendo Malcruz Visitacion — Professor Vee (1910–1999), founder of Vee-Jitsu / Vee Arnis Jitsu. Born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he began Arnis at age ten, served as a U.S. Army medic in World War II, and settled in New York, where he taught for over three decades in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. On September 5, 1955, he introduced Vee-Jitsu, recognized in 1967 by the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation, which awarded him the title of Professor and a 10th Dan. In 1978 he received the Datu award for promoting Filipino martial arts, and in 1993 he was elected to the Martial Arts Hall of Fame for Lifetime Achievement. His students included Professor Moses Powell, father of Sanuces Ryu. Professor Vee died January 4, 1999, in New York City. In 1987, in Brooklyn, New York, Papoluv trained in Filipino martial arts with Professor Vee.
AUTHORIZED & AFFILIATED
Our Dugukan authorization, the Inner Core Dugukan emblem, the Filmocan San Miguel Eskrima seal, and the Nisei Godan Black Belt in Nisei Kali Arnis Escrima (awarded April 28, 2015 by Chief Instructor Master W. Roldan) — plus Papoluv's fifth-degree black belt in Goju Ryu, awarded by Grandmaster Hanshi Wilfredo Rodan — stand behind everything we teach.
INNER CORE DUGUKAN
The Inner Core Dugukan emblem — the symbol of the Dugukan system, authorized for our school.
